These tranquil gardens lead to a picturesque lake surrounded by colourful flowers and shrubs. Set on over 100 acres, the house and gardens are said to have replaced an earlier convent, a sister house of an early monastery adjoining the land. Visitors can pass the day roaming 100 acres of fabulous walkways passing an arborerum, bog garden and even an 'Ice Age Garden' with ancient oak. There is a wealth of wildlife tucked away in every alcove of the garden.
