Just because this region is made up of only two counties does not mean there are fewer attractions. In fact, Cork and Kerry is packed full of wonderful sights, incredibly picturesque landscapes and unique attractions. Many tourists would be aware of the ‘Ring of Kerry’, a wonderful scenic coastal drive taking in towns such as Dingle and Killarney. However, this is just the tip of the iceberg for this region. Whether it’s towering castles overlooking quant, picture-perfect fishing villages such as in Baltimore or several thousand year old stone forts overlooking rugged cliffs such as the Dunbeg Promontory Fort near Dingle, this region has it all and more.
